Thank you for covering today. Here is the day's plan.
A Block
1. Take the students to the library.
2. Take attendance. The attendance sheet is in the green folder on my desk. Return the attendance sheet to the folder.
3. Direct the students to do the following.
Moodle Test
Log onto the Moodle.
Go to Box 6.
Click on the link for the Unit 1 Test.
Tell the students to take the test.
After they complete the test, they need to go back to Box 6 on the Moodle.
This is NOT an open note test.
Permformance Assessment
There is a link in Box 6 called Performance Assessment - Who is Buying for Who List? Have them click the link to see for whom they are supposed to recommend a computer.
Have them click the link Unit 1 Performance Assessment.
They need to save the file to their H-Drive. The name should stay the same with one exception. They should attach their last name to the file name. For example, if their last name is Smith they should save the file as Unit1-Assessment_Revised Smith.
Once they open the sheet, they need to put their name on it and select the person that they are assigned from the drop down menu. This was the person they referenced in the Who is Buying for whom list.
Reiterate the instructions by reading. "You must fill out every box on the sheet labeled Component Analysis for full credit. You must write a paragraph on the tab called conclusion paragraph."
After the students complete this document, they are to upload in to the Moodle. In Box 6 on the Moodle, there is a link called Turn In Spreadsheet. They need to click this link and upload their document.
B Block & D Block
1. Take attendance. The attendance sheet is in the green folder on my desk. Distribute pencils to anyone who needs them. They are on my desk.
2. Distribute the following handouts:
Worksheet on Parallel and Perpendicular Slopes
Organizational Chart called Finding Equations of Lines
Worksheet - Point Slope Formula
Yellow Ken Ken sheet.
3. Have kids watch the following video. They do not need to take notes on it. It is 5 minutes long.
4. Have the students turn their attention to the worksheet called Worksheet on Parallel and Perpendicular Slopes. Have them watch the following video on this.
5. Have kids watch the follwing video clip.
6. Have the kids watch the following video clip. start the worksheet and go to a a perpendicular problem.
